ABOUT US

Welcome to the robot revolution for golf driving ranges!

CyberPicker is an autonomous ground robot designed exclusively to automate the task of retrieving golf balls in any outdoor environment seamlessly without any changes to the facility’s infrastructure. We understand that operating a driving range business profitably is a challenging proposition. But with CyberPicker working tirelessly for you, it has become much easier…CyberPicker does away with the mind-numbing, labour-intensive, and risk-filled job of manually collecting thousands of golf balls from the range, day in and day out, in fair weather and foul, and it performs its task reliably and without complaint.

Benefits for a Driving Range

CyberPicker can operate 24/7 as required, in daylight and darkness, without concern for staffing no-shows, safety risks, coffee breaks, hiring hassles, and wage increases.

Fully weather-proofed – CyberPicker does its job in any weather condition, be it blazing heat or driving rain.

No more damaging the range with tractors pulling drag rollers when conditions are soft – CyberPicker is designed to leave a light footprint in all ground conditions.

CyberPicker automatically avoids yardage markers, bunkers, and other range obstacles that may cause damage in a collision or prevent the unit from moving on.

CyberPicker operates electrically, powered by rechargeable batteries – no noxious exhaust, no carbon emissions, and environmentally friendly.

You can control CyberPicker’s operation from anywhere and at anytime, on-site or remotely from the comfort of your office or home, with real-time monitoring on your computer or mobile phone.

FAQ

How does CyberPicker know where to go?

CyberPicker uses GPS technology to pre-define the boundaries of the golf driving range. Once the CyberPicker routes on your driving range are established using Google Maps, CyberPicker will faithfully follow those pathways until you decide to change them. CyberPicker’s GPS guidance system does away with the need for laying out and maintaining guiding wires throughout the driving range.

Signage markers, bunkers, and other obstacles are randomly placed around the range. Won’t CyberPicker run into them?

CyberPicker incorporates sensors that detect obstacles in its path. Should CyberPicker identify an obstacle, it is programmed to adjust its approach to avoid a collision automatically, then find its way back to its mapped route and continue operating as designed.

How many golf balls can CyberPicker retrieve before it has to unload?

Our current design can capture and dispense up to 1,000 golf balls in a single load.

What happens when CyberPicker runs out of power or has no more room to store golf balls?

CyberPicker is designed to monitor the capacity of its battery charge as it operates. CyberPicker will automatically head to its home base to recharge when the battery discharges to a pre-set level. Once sufficiently charged, it will then undock from the charging station and resume collecting golf balls. You can also schedule the CyberPicker charging process for any specified time.

Further, CyberPicker will detect the weight of the golf balls it has collected, and when it reaches capacity, it will automatically drive to the designated station to discharge its load. Once unloaded, it resumes its operation of collecting more balls.

What happens when CyberPicker gets hit by a golf ball?

CyberPicker is made of impact-resistant carbon fiber materials, and its low-profile design helps deflect impact energy. It has been rigorously tested to withstand the impact of fast-flying golf balls.

After a significant rain, the range can get soft and is easily damaged. How does CyberPicker avoid harming the surface when operating under such conditions?

CyberPicker is designed with effective weigh in mind. It is light and nimble enough to operate in soft terrain without damage to the range.

Our customers demand and expect us to provide them with good quality golf balls. We can’t afford for them to undergo damage during retrieval. How does CyberPicker prevent such damage?

We have intentionally designed CyberPicker to handle golf balls with a white glove treatment. We use durable yet forgiving materials that contact the golf balls without causing damage – a gentler process for your golf ball health than the traditional methods you may be employing now.

How can I be assured CyberPicker is doing the job?

Even though CyberPicker is designed to operate without the need for human control after initial set-up, we appreciate that owners still want the ability to check in and confirm that their unit is doing its job. So, we designed the system to allow you to monitor and control this GPS-guided robot on-site or remotely from your computer or mobile device.
